A municipal court has many departments, some of which you may come into contact with while using the Court’s services. 

The Clerk of Courts is responsible for overseeing the general operation of the Court. The Clerk’s Office is broken down into several divisions, each with a specific function within the Court. Most people come into contact with one of these departments: Civil division; Criminal Division; or the Traffic Division. These divisions are staffed by deputy clerks, and the Clerk’s Office as a whole is overseen by the Chief Deputy Clerk, John Garmone.

Additionally, the Court is supported by a Bailiff’s Department; Magistrates and a Probation Department.
